The car was built for Hoonigan co-founder \u003cstrong\u003eBrian Scotto\u003c\/strong\u003e, who wanted to transform his 911 into something that could be driven hard while still retaining its character as a road car. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStarting life as a \u003cstrong\u003e1991 Porsche 911 Turbo\u003c\/strong\u003e, the car was transformed with RWB's signature \u003cstrong\u003e964 Super Wide\u003c\/strong\u003e bodywork, dramatically extended arches, aggressive side skirts, deep wheels and a huge rear wing. Unlike a conventional bolt-on kit, the RWB conversion involved Nakai-san cutting into the original bodywork and carefully shaping the new panels by hand, giving the car the unmistakable raw and purposeful appearance that RWB builds are known for. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe build was named \u003cstrong\u003eHoonigan\u003c\/strong\u003e by Nakai-san himself after seeing the Hoonigan stencil Scotto had created for the car. It debuted at \u003cstrong\u003eSEMA in 2011\u003c\/strong\u003e, becoming one of the cars that helped introduce RWB's unique approach to Porsche builds to a much wider American audience. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOne of the defining features of Scotto's car is its \u003cstrong\u003ered interior and matching red wheels\u003c\/strong\u003e, deliberately chosen to give the white Porsche a distinctive character rather than following the darker, stripped-back look seen on many other RWB builds.
