RWB Hoonigan Porsche 911

The RWB Hoonigan Porsche 911 is one of the most recognisable builds to come from the Hoonigan world, combining a classic Porsche 911 Turbo with the unmistakable widebody styling of RAUH-Welt Begriff, created by legendary Japanese builder Akira Nakai. The car was built for Hoonigan co-founder Brian Scotto, who wanted to transform his 911 into something that could be driven hard while still retaining its character as a road car.

Starting life as a 1991 Porsche 911 Turbo, the car was transformed with RWB's signature 964 Super Wide bodywork, dramatically extended arches, aggressive side skirts, deep wheels and a huge rear wing. Unlike a conventional bolt-on kit, the RWB conversion involved Nakai-san cutting into the original bodywork and carefully shaping the new panels by hand, giving the car the unmistakable raw and purposeful appearance that RWB builds are known for.

The build was named Hoonigan by Nakai-san himself after seeing the Hoonigan stencil Scotto had created for the car. It debuted at SEMA in 2011, becoming one of the cars that helped introduce RWB's unique approach to Porsche builds to a much wider American audience.

One of the defining features of Scotto's car is its red interior and matching red wheels, deliberately chosen to give the white Porsche a distinctive character rather than following the darker, stripped-back look seen on many other RWB builds. The car also received KW Variant 3 coilovers with an HLS height lift system, allowing its extremely low stance to be raised when necessary for road use.

This artwork captures the Hoonigan Porsche against a striking Mount Fuji and cherry blossom backdrop, combining the raw attitude of an RWB Porsche with a more traditional Japanese setting. The white bodywork, deep red wheels and wide stance contrast beautifully against the blue sky, mountain scenery and scattered cherry blossom petals.
